Join to Text (String)

The <ch5-jointotext-string> component provides the same functionality as the <cips>joinNumber:textWhenEmpty</cips> CIP tag in Smart Graphics® technology.

Features

The <ch5-jointotext-string> attributes provide the following features:

Displays specified text when the string or serial join is returned as empty ("").
If no text is provided, the tag will always be the provided value of the string join and will not be trimmed (even if the received value is a single empty space).
